The NYSJA publishes  a tri-annual newsletter, titled “Observations”. Mailed to the membership (600 Members) and distributed at the JA NY shows, “Observations” is more like a news magazine with articles that contain relevant topics and timely issues.

Each newsletter includes informative articles regarding current events such as the latest shows and current trends. You'll also find entertainment tips, along with items like how to buy the correct wine for a gift are in the Holiday edition. Store security is a recurring topic. You'll read helpful information about scams, spotting fraudulent credit cards, how to spot potential thieves,and teaching employees to always be aware and alert as to who is in the store and where they are located.

“Observations” is distributed three times a year: Spring; Summer and Fall/Holiday. Advertising opportunities are available in three issue sets as well as for a single issue.
